What a Fun Night at OCCCA!

"MALDITA FRONTERA" opening night brought nearly 1,000 people. Performance by Felipe Tututi & "La China" & Co  from Mexicali was fantastic. The Los Sweepers" from Calexico really rocked! Thank you for those who came and those who couldn't make it, the exhibition continues to the 28th of this month. Gregg's recent work "SILKE" has been publicized on Laguna Beach Oracle 2012 magazine.
This piece has shown at Smoking Mirrors Gallery in Pomona from February to May, then at the Huntington Beach Art Center from May to June and currently exhibited at the Art Festival In Laguna Beach.

He has invited four master artists from Mexicali, Baja California.
There will be a performing artist as well as a live band throughout the reception night.

Ceramic artist, Eduardo is an exhibition director at the Institute de Cultura de Baja California.
 Master painter Fernando is an art critique journalist when he is not painting.
Realism artist Pablo has received numerous awards including "Best of the Show" in entire northern B.C.
Art collectors abound in both sides of the border: Ramon is a respected art professor in Mexicali.



BORDER ISSUE expressed by these powerful artists is one of the kinds "Must See Exhibition" this summer.

HUNTINGTON BEACH ART CENTER opening scene.

The "Marginal Lives" exhibition is up till Friday, June 8th at GALLERY 1927 AT THE FINE ARTS BLDG 811 WEST SEVENTH ST., L.A. CA 90017 between Flower and Figuraroa and Wilshire. The display is absolutely beautiful.  There were two article write ups.
